Hot on the heels of RC.2 we've now released Cubeia Firebase 1.8-CE Release Candidate 3. There's one major change in this candidate compared to the previous:

• We decided to take the plunge and switched our own home-baked Comet solution for the CometD implementation of the Bayeux protocol. This turned out to be a perfect match for Firebase and a natural programming model in the client layer.

If no bugs shows up this is going to be the last release candidate before the full release. We'll now concentrate on documentation and preparing and testing the full Enterprise release.
